DERRIFORD HOSPITAL In Praise OF Two weeks ago I returned home from Derriford Hospital after having a quadruple heart bypass operation. I would like to express my sincere thanks and admiration to Cardiac Surgeon Simon Allen and his Cardiac team, anaesthetists, doctors, nurses etc. I would also like to thank the intensive care team, physiotherapists, nurses and carers. In addition I would like to thank the initial consultant I saw in A&E who started the whole process so quickly. My thanks also to the ambulance team, who arrived within 7 minutes from my husbands 999 call at midnight on a Sunday evening. With regards the aftercare, the District Nurses are treasures. The care I have received to date is nothing short of perfection. Thankyou Derriford Hospital and congratulations on your very high standards! (A grateful patient) Odila Law
