THOMAS Peter & Mair Diamond Anniversary of Loughor. Peter & Mair met at the Bynea Cycling Club in the Early 1950's where they enjoyed cycling and bagged some trophies. Interrupted by Peter's National Service in the Royal Navy. They married at St. Michael's and All Angels Church, Dafen, Llanelli on 21st April 1956. They have two sons Mark and David and also two grand-children Harriet and Oliver. They began caravaning in the late 1960's and Peter became Chairman of the West Wales Centre of the Caravan Club, a role he undertook for 10 years. Caravaning remained a large part of their life and they both worked tirelessly within the local centre and more recently the National Rallies. Sadly due to recent ill health the caravan has had to go. Mair undertook many years of volunteering both within the local church and Women's Royal Volunteer Service. Both now enjoy a busy life within their family.
