TED AND HANNAH WHATLEY 60th Wedding Anniversary Ex Kidwelly couple Ted and Hannah Whatley celebrated their 60th Anniversary at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel, Pembroke Dock on Saturday 1st April with friends and relatives from as far away as Kidwelly and Scotland. Hannah was born and brought up in Kidwelly, she was also the Kidwelly Carnival Queen in 1956. Ted and Hannah were married at St Marys Church, Kidwelly on 30th March 1957. They moved to Pembroke Dock 19 years ago. The evening started with reception drinks and then a small service where they both renewed their wedding vows and the blessing of their rings. Followed by an excellent three course meal and entertainment by the well known TV Artist Gina Jones. Whilst the Celebration cake was being cut and served a DVD was played of their 50th wedding celebration, which had also been held at the same Hotel As requested donations were given In lieu of presents, which raised ?500 for The Kidney Wales Foundation. They were also honoured to receive a photo and letter of congratulations from the Queen.
