......Four Acres Primary Maths fun at...... What do pirates and maths have in common? The children of Four Acres School in Withywood found out when they took part in a pirate themed maths day. Using co-ordinates to find treasure on a map, problem solving to crack the code of the treasure chest and finding the ratio and proportion of pirate provisions were among the many activities on offer. As one 7 year old observed 'Maths is everywhere'.
