Happy Birthday CONNOR Dorothy Wishing our dear friend Dorothy a very happy - and 'special' - birthday on 2nd December. In recent times Dorothy has been prolific in the papers, never shying away from local or national issues. You might have read a letter by Dorothy, introduced occasionally as 'a Rutherglen woman', 'local resident', or 'former Reformer reporter'. Her grandfather James Kelly founded and ran Rutherglen Ladies F.C. and her father Jack was with the 'Forgotten Army' in Burma. You can read more about her family and local history in Home Town Tales (2005). In her letters, stories, and emails, Dorothy puts her family and town first. It is therefore only right that we give her some of the limelight, and thank her for touching our lives and warming our hearts every day. With love- Craig, Catriona & Eleanor
