THANK YOU to Shaftesbury Chamber of Commerce, their families and friends for the help putting the Christmas Trees and Lights up in time for the spectacular opening by James May on Friday 4th December in Shaftesbury High Street. An element of exasperation, deliberation, patience and persistence in putting the large Christmas Tree in place - We got there! Our thanks to Win and Fred Harvey, Andy and Carol Hollingshead, David Perry, daughter Alice and Nick. Caroline, Kevin and Ed Bedia, Craig Hacker and Isabelle Bay, Richard Kingsleyside, Roger Whitehead, Ross Cruickshank, Karen James, Kevin Hames, Andy Burton, Rob Neely, Virginia and Tim Edwin-Jones. Also Ray Humpreys MBE and James Thrift who acted as electricians. Special thanks to Paul Wright, Jame Maynard of SSE. Not forgetting Nicola and Clive Carter also Cassie of Fork and Flowers who made it all possible. And finally The Fleur De Lys Hotel, The John Peel and Ugly Duckling Cafe for supplying refreshments and the Cooper family who delivered and supplied the Christmas Trees.
