Daniel & Alexandra Fisher Just Married Miss Alexandra Jennifer (Sasha) Scott and Mr Daniel Tremearne Fisher were united in marriage on Saturday, 18th of July, 2015 at three o'clock in the afternoon at 'Thorndyke' Huntingdon Road in Cambridge. The ceremony was Humanist and was followed by a vintage garden party, rustic buffet dinner and reception. The bride is the daughter of Professor James Scott and Mrs Galina Scott of Girton, Cambridgeshire. The groom is the son of Mr Malcolm Fisher and Mrs Joanna Fisher of Thriplow, Hertfordshire. Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a 1950s style ivory lace tea-length gown which was complemented by a fingertip veil. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of scented cottage garden flowers. Miss Holly Marshall of Warboys, Huntingdonshire, served as Maid of Honor. The bridesmaid was Miss Josephine Fisher (sister of the groom) of Thriplow, Hertfordshire. The flower girl was Miss Eliza Turner-Cobbold of Haverhill, Suffolk. The Maid of Honor and bridesmaid wore retro tea-length teal and purple gowns & each carried a hand-tied bouquet of flowers. Mr Andrew McCombie of Newnham, Cambridge served as Best Man. Groomsmen also included Mr. Christopher Mycroft and Mr. Angus Fisher (brother of groom). The bride is a graduate of The University of Durham. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages and Linguistics, and now works in Marketing/PR as well as running a counselling business. The groom is a graduate of Royal Holloway University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and now works as Marketing Manager for Cambridge's Bodywork Dance Studios. Following a honeymoon in the Maldives, Alexandra and Daniel will reside in Cambridge.
