CLLR MERVYN JEFFREY DCC who in the past 40 years, 32 as a Councillor, Shaftesbury Town Council, District Councillor, Mayor of Shaftesbury and currently County Councillor. For many years after the Boy's Club, Shaftesbury, founder member if not founder of Swans Trust resulting in Swans Yard, Shaftesbury.
