Happy Birthday HARRY STANSFIELD Born August 4th 1922 - is 100 years old today. Harry was born in the heart of the Hessle Road fishing community, an industry which he spent his working life in (1935-1985). Apart from his Royal Navy WW2 active service on minesweepers, 1941-45, Harry has lived in West Hull/Anlaby & Hessle all his life. He is a lifelong Hull FC supporter. In August 1944, he married his childhood sweetheart Joan, nee Burton, formerly of Essex Street. They spent 73 happy years of marriage together until Joan passed in 2017. Harry is now cared for by the kind staff at the Coach House, Hessle. Sons Steven & Peter & their families will lead his birthday celebrations at the Coach House. He remembers with love & fondness his now passed sister Milly & brothers Charlie & Stan & their families. As he does his & Joan's wider family & their many friends & neighbours. Harry has had a long & well lived life & family & friend across the generations send much love on his one hundredth birth
