Happy 100th Birthday OWEN Douglas Lyall 100 years ago, Douglas Lyall Owen was born in Merthyr Tydfil on 28th August 1920. After a number of postings in the Admiralty, he moved to Crownhill, Plymouth where he has enjoyed the last 47 years. Today, three generations of his family are delighted to congratulate Douglas on his 100th birthday. To many he is an inspiring role model and 'legend', to his daughters, Caroline and Belinda he is also a loving and caring father. Happy Birthday Douglas - May your day be as special as you are.
