MELVYN RANDALL For My Daddykins Happy Father's Day, Eighty years of love and laughter too, if I had to choose a hero, I'd choose no one else but you. From walks along the beach with Grandma's dogs, the wind upon our faces and the sand beneath our feet, to helping care for all my rabbits. These precious memories are treasures I will always keep. You stood beside me through my childhood, cheering loud as I ran each cross-country race, no matter where I looked along the course, I'd find encouragement written on your face. You love your football and Grimsby Town, faithfully supporting them through loss and glory days. You've always loved a good laugh too, with Dad's Army never failing to make you smile away. Life has brought its challenges and Parkinson's has asked more of you than seems fair, but your strength, courage and sense of humour show everyone the fighter living there. You've taught me kindness, loyalty and love, the value of standing strong and seeing the funny side. Through every chapter of my life, you've been my constant source of pride.
