ASHBY & SCUNTHORPE FUNERAL CARE THANK YOU Golden Charter Award Winner 2014. Your only local independent funeral director. I would like to thank all my staff for their amazing work which has resulted in our funeral home taking the regional award for the second year at the Golden Charter Awards Ceremony which was held in Southport on Saturday. Without dedicated staff and the amazing people of Scunthorpe who place their trust in us this wouldn't have been possible. I am certain that this is proof that people are now using the independent family owned funeral directors across the UK as many awards were given in all regions in the UK. Your loved ones are our main concern and the dedicated family funeral director continues to work to achieve very high standards and give a very personal service with families. We at Ashby and Scunthorpe Funeral Care have launched our funeral seminars that will take place monthly and hope to educate people regarding the work of a funeral director. We continue to promote an open door policy. Our funerals are arranged to a families need and budget so please do come and join us if you have an interest in the work that we do. Learn all about the different types of a final journey that are available for people and the green burials that more and more people are opting for. Anyone wishing to learn about the green burials or indeed the funeral pre-payment plans should always contact the local funeral director in the first instance. We are working with the local people to make certain that they know what they are pre-purchasing, their money is safe and also to be certain that they have the funeral director of their choice at the time of need. Once again may I thank my staff for their amazing work, the people of Scunthorpe for their continued trust and giving us the honour and privilege of taking a loved one on a final journey, our local nurses, doctors, hospitals, hospice, clergy and cemetery staff for their continued care of those in need. May we all continue to give the best level of care. Thank you very much from Sue Maclean and her staff 01724 841112.
