DEIRDRE CARROLL recently resigned as Manager from Irish Community Care, Manchester after 20 years employed in various roles. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the beautiful flowers, gifts and cards forwarded to me in heartfelt and genuine spirit after many years working with and for the Irish and wider community in the city. However, I do feel the need to clarify that I tendered my resignation, 3.7.2012, terminating 28.9.2012, (3 months notice) I wish to stress I have resigned from ICC. I have not retired from the community or society. I am merely taking time to prepare for my next challenge.
