MADDISON (Alan). - Pat and family would like to thank relatives, friends and neighbours for their kindness, both during Alans short illness and following his passing on December 31, 2008. Thank you all for the very many cards, donations and visits. We would also like to thank the British Legion for their Standard Bearers, Bugler and Guard of Honour at the funeral service, also to the representatives from Warwickshire Police and from the National Association of Retired Police Officers and to the very many of you that came along to the church. Special thanks to Reverend Jill Cheverton for the support given to the family and for the beautiful service in celebration of Alans life. Thank you also to Broad Street Rugby Club for the reception, held after the service. We would like to thank the doctors and staff at Walsgrave Accute Medical Centre, Walsgrave Cancer Centre, Macmillan Nurses and Kenyons (Brandon Road Surgery), who took such good care of Alan. Finally we would like to thank Grimmett and Timms for their support and kindness to the family and dignity shown towards Alan.
