SANDS Michael (Mick). Maureen and family would like to thank those who sent cards, messages of support and generous donations to the Macmillan Nurses who were of great support in Mick's last few weeks. The family take great comfort in the number of you who turned out in such horrid weather to attend Mick's funeral. Thank you especially to George who stood as Standard Bearer, Dennis for his help with the club, the staff of the Coachmakers and Mary Lacey and Mel Paul for turning Mick's funeral into a celebration of his life, it was the party he dreamed of. Finally, thank you to the Co-op Funeral Directors for their care in preparing Mick for his final journey.
