WHITTAKER Christopher David (Chris) Aged 42. Of Manor Street, Hinckley, Leics. Died suddenly at home on March 26, 2008. The funeral which was arranged by his family and conducted by the Reverend John Plant was held at St. Peter's Church, Market Bosworth on April 11, 2008. We celebrated Chris' life with the music that he loved and which meant so much to him. He was a fiercely independent man and lived his life to the full, to the very end, despite his illness; we admired his fortitude and his tenacity so very much. He leaves behind three beautiful daughters, Bethany, Charlotte and Mollie, who he will now watch over as they grow and live their own lives. Mum and Dad, Olive and Les and brothers Brian and Dean and sister Linda and their families, including his nephews and nieces and grand-niece have been heartened by all the condolences and tributes and messages of support received at this sad time. We thank his many colleagues, both past and present, for their support and memories of Chris and wish to acknowledge all the wonderful flowers from family and friends. We also appreciate the donations received for Chris' charity 'Epilepsy Action'. We would like to express our grateful thanks to G. Seller & Co. and in particular, to Kevin for their wonderful support at this difficult time. Chris, a beloved son, brother and uncle and a good friend to many, you will be so sadly missed. God bless. 'To Daddy', we love you and you will be missed by many, you were a wonderful person: Bethany, Charlotte and Mollie.
