JIM & EILEEN POOL Jim and Eileen Pool's story started when they became happily married on 30th April 1955, whilst Jim worked at the Carnation Milk Factory and Eileen at Dinwides on the High Street. On the weekend of 2nd May 2015, they celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary after an amazing 60 years together. In celebration of the occasion Jim and Eileen were joined by their family and friends at the Crichton Golf Club with all having a fantastic time. Donations were collected and a grand total of £715 was raised for the Cancer Unit at the local hospital as well as £100 for Cancer Research. A huge thank you to all that attended and donated.
