SHEILA JOHNSON (Nee Tait) To my lovely wife Sheila. Sixty seven years ago we ?rst met and love between us sparkled. Then for almost three years we were apart while I served in the Far East Land Forces and your letters kept that sparkle going. Now sixty years have passed and we celebrate our Diamond Wedding Anniversary. In the words of Byron “Years steal ?re from the mind and vigour from the limbs and life’s enchanted cup but sparkles near the rim”. That sparkle is still with us near the rim, all my love on 13th June, as always Bill. xx
