Brian Guy Suzanne Mary Brailey Golden Anniversary On 21st September 1963, Inspector of Electrical Fitters at Devonport Dockyard, Mr Brian Guy Peake, the only son of Mr and Mrs J H Peake (formally of Clifton, Dunstone Avenue, Plymstock), was married at St Andrew's Church, Plymouth, to Miss Suzanne Mary Brailey, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs E E Brailey (formally of Wyke Lodge, 39 Furzehatt Rd, Plymstock). Given away by her father, the managing director of Brailey and Toms Ltd (Exeter Street, Plymouth). The bride wore a full length gown classically styled in satin with appliquéd lace motifs and a small train. Her bouffant veil was held in place by a diamante and pearl head-dress and she carried a bouquet of carnations, roses, freesias and stephanotis. She was attended by her sister Mrs Denise Bright, the bridegroom's sister Kathleen Ford (née Peake) and the bride's godchild Mrs Rosemary Barnes (née Robilliard). The best man, a wonderful friend of the family, was Peter Mitchell. Their daughters Wendy and Hilary, son-in-law Simon and their grandchildren, Samuel, Poppy and Josh wish them many congratulations on their Golden Wedding Anniversary. Not forgetting their granddog Merlot (woof!).
