My mind is still frozen on the first day I held you in my arms. It felt as though someone who had nothing to call her own had suddenly been given the most precious treasure. I didn't know how to welcome you or what to do with you. All I have done over these past 12 months is love you. I am grateful to you because you have brought out the best in me and made me a better person day by day. I love you, my son. Be a kind and good person for yourself and for everyone around you.
