Doctor Venkata Subbu Retirement of Partner Morrison Road Surgery- Retirement of Partner. Doctor Venkata Subbu, will be leaving at the end of March 2014, after thirty-eight years serving the community of Port Talbot. We all extend our best wishes to him as he begins a long and well deserved retirement. He will be greatly missed. For the staff and patients of Morrison Road Surgery it will mark the end of an era. The town of Port Talbot retains its community identity and Doctor Subbu has been an important part of it. Just as his patients have appreciated his expertise and compassion over almost four decades, Doctor Subbu has said for his part, it has been his privilege to serve people whose nobility in adversity, compassion and generosity of spirit have shown him what it means to be human, and who's support through good times and bad has been deeply appreciated. To say goodbye to someone so much a fixture of the community will be difficult. We can take comfort from the fact that although he may be retiring he is not leaving. This is an opportunity for him to pursue his many local interests, where we will certainly encounter him in the years to come.
